Commercial Services
We can tailor our waste collection services to suit your business needs, no matter how big or small your company is. Our prices are competitive and we offer great customer service! Our qualified sales staff can assist with determining your disposal needs and arranging service.
Containers
Our front load waste containers are fabricated at our facility and consistently maintained to ensure a neat and tidy appearance at your place of business. Containers are available in 2 to 6 yard sizes.
Totes
Garbage totes are available in 2 sizes:
360 L/95 gallon
34 × 22 1/2 × 46 1/4 in. (L x W x H)

240 L/64 gallon
28 × 24 1/2 × 42 in. (Lx W x H)
These totes are also available for Yard and Garden waste.
Commercial Recycling
Cardboard
We can provide front load container, totes and even loose cardboard pick up to customers depending on volume.
Glass, Tin and Plastic
We can provide 64 or 96 gallon totes for these materials.
All can be combined into 1 bin for recycling.
Can include:
- Any tin cans or clean aluminum foil
- Any glass container (including jars, juice containers etc.)
- Any rigid plastic containers with recycling number 1 or 7 on them
Please note that all items should be rinsed and cleaned.
Mixed Paper
We can provide 64 gallons totes for various types of paper products for your office or apartment building:

- Office Paper
- Shredded Paper
Scrap Metal
We offer totes and loose metal pickup or roll off container for large volume customers.
We also provide recycling collection services to apartments and strata units. We supply our customers with recycling totes that are available in 2 sizes:

Residents are responsible for sorting their recycling in the appropriately marked totes. We pick up on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis.
Residential Services
We provide waste collection services to homes in the Western Communities, including Sooke. We offer friendly service and pick up on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. We also pick up on all holidays except Christmas Day!
Yard and Garden Waste Pick-Up
We offer curb side pickup from your home, ONE SATURDAY per month.
There are three options available:
Premium curb side: Includes a wheeled 64 gallon toter - Holds approximately 3 bags.
Premium Plus yard pick-up: Includes a wheeled 64 gallon toter - Holds approximately 3 bags.
Yard and Garden Waste Pick-Up:
If your regular garbage pick-up day is:
- Monday - Your garden refuse pick-up day is: First Saturday of every month.
- Tuesday - Your garden refuse pick-up day is: Second Saturday of every month.
- Wednesday - Your garden refuse pick-up day is: Third Saturday of every month.
- Thursday/Friday - Your garden refuse pick-up day is: Fourth Saturday of every month.
- Sooke Residential - First Saturday of every month.
Billing & Payments
Bills are sent our January, April, June and October. Payments can be made online, in person, over the phone or by mail. We also offer automatic bill payment by Visa or Mastercard.
There is a 10% discount for customers who wish to pay for a full year in advance.
FAQ’s
Q. What time should I have my refuse at the curb side?
A. Waste containers must be curbide by 7am to ensure you are not missed.
Q. What size container should I be using?
A. Maximum 1 can container size is 120 Litre with a maximum weight of 55 lbs.
Please avoid the 200 litre (50 Gallon) sizes that do not have the proper mechanism to work with our trucks as they get too heavy and break. Larger containers are available for rent or purchase.
Q. What refuse is not allowed in my garbage?
A. Drywall, metal, cardboard, and paint are not permitted in house hold waste, but can be disposed of at Alpine Garbage & Recycling Drop off Center for a nominal fee.
Q. I have extra garbage this week?
A. Please advise the head office of any extra refuse, charges will appear on your next statement.
