Apartment Recycling

We provide recycling collection services to apartments and strata units. We supply our customers with recycling totes that are available in 2 sizes:

360 L/95 gallon
33 3/4 × 26 1/4 × 46 1/4 in. (LxWxH)

29 5/16 × 24 1/4 × 42 in. (LxWxH)

Residents are responsible for sorting their recycling in the appropriately marked totes. We pick up on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis.

Alpine Waste and Recycling Drop-Off Depot

We offer waste and recycling drop-off service at our facility located at 1045 Dunford Avenue in Langford.

Hours of operation are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Alpine Waste and Recycling Drop-Off Depot is pleased to accept the following:

Roll Off Bins

Roll off bins are supplied to customers with a high volume of waste. Our roll off bins are fabricated at our facility and consistently maintained to ensure a neat and tidy appearance at your place of business. Bins are available in 12 to 40 yard sizes, with an open top. We sort and recycle your waste as part of our service allowing placement of only one bin for ALL of your waste collection. Roll off bins are also used on construction, landscaping or residential sites for temporary waste removal.

Residential Services

We provide waste collection services to homes in the Western Communities, including Sooke. We offer friendly service. We pick up on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. Service can be changed at any time by calling our office at 250-474-5145. We pick up on all holidays except Christmas Day!

Clean-Up Service

We offer clean-up service for estates and renovation projects or pick up of household items such as appliances and furniture. No job too big or small!

Yard and Garden Waste Pick-Up

We offer curbside pick up from your home, ONE SATURDAY per month. There are three options available:

Curbside pick-up by the bag

Premium curbside – includes a wheeled 64 gallon toter
(holds approximately 3 bags)

Premium Plus yard pick-up – includes a wheeled 64 gallon toter
(holds approximately 3 bags)

If your regular garbage pick-up day is:

Monday - Your garden refuse pick-up day is: First Saturday of every month

Tuesday - Your garden refuse pick-up day is: Second Saturday of every month

Wednesday - Your garden refuse pick-up day is: Third Saturday of every month

Thursday/Friday - Your garden refuse pick-up day is: Fourth Saturday of every month

Sooke Residential – First Saturday of every month

Commercial Services

We can tailor our waste collection services to suit your business needs, no matter how big or small your company is. Our prices are competitive and we offer great customer service! Our qualified sales staff can assist with determining your disposal needs and arranging service.

Containers

Our front and rear load waste containers are fabricated at our facility and consistently maintained to ensure a neat and tidy appearance at your place of business. Containers are available in 2 to 6 yard sizes. We sort and recycle your waste as part of our service allowing placement of only one bin for ALL of your waste collection.

Garbage totes are available in 2 sizes:

Compactors

We offer compactor service to customers with a high volume of waste or where traffic at the business location is a concern. Compactors reduce the number of waste pick-ups required and offer a higher level of security and tidiness than conventional containers.
